Herston Quarter is set to emerge as a vibrant community, facilitating intergenerational living, green spaces and providing a public realm that encourages collaboration and connectedness.

Located within the Herston Health Precinct in Brisbane’s inner north, the development of the five hectare site will continue the evolution of the district as a global benchmark in health precincts.

Hutchies has a long and proud history spanning more than 80 years within this precinct and we’re thrilled to be back on site delivering several stages of the Herston Quarter Redevelopment for Australian Unity, including the heritage precinct, services diversion and Northern Car Park.

Australian Unity was carefully selected by the Queensland Government to lead the $1.1 billion redevelopment of the site. They are working closely with Metro North Hospital and Health Service and Economic Development Queensland (EDQ), the Queensland Government’s specialist land use planning and property development unit. Together, we are collaborating to create a visionary precinct.
