Hutchinson Builders recently completed the design & construct of a new Queensland Ambulance Station with a separate relief quarters in Kenilworth. The station consists of offices, indoor & outdoor recreation areas, amenities and a two ambulance vehicle bay plant room. The relief quarters consists of two bedrooms, lounge, kitchen, amenities, laundry and single carport. As the site borders residential properties and a retirement village, extra care went into limiting noise and light transfer. All decorative finishes were installed and completed above the required standard, including glass splashbacks and decorative gable ends incorporating a laser cut Queensland Ambulance Emblem. Overall, this award-winning design and high standard of finish creates a homely atmosphere for the ambulance staff & First Responders.
