RACQ Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service Hangar

Hutchies is proud to have been engaged to undertake the expansion of the RACQ Capricorn Helicopter Service hangar. Completed in late 2017, the new state-of-the-art facility houses the primary and backup rescue helicopters for the service, providing better access to critical medical and search and rescue assistance for regional and remote communities. The facility also includes accommodation for the crews who are on call 24/7. Our methodology ensured adherence to the rigorous requirements of working in an airside security restricted area at Rockhampton Airport and guaranteed no disruption to the service’s vital rescue operations.
