Hutchies was commissioned to undertake a significant refurbishment to the Sunshine Coast’s iconic SeaLife Underwater World at Mooloolaba. The project included a complete layout change, installation of new marine tanks and life support systems (supplied by Underwater World), and new theming throughout. The total project value including the tanks, life support systems and theming was in excess of $8 million making this the most substantial refurbishment since the complex opened in 1989.
