Hutchies constructed a new facility for Thrifty car rental at Brisbane Airport, incorporating administration, maintenance, cleaning and re-fuelling facilities. The 8,000m² site incorporates a 420m² administration building, 400m² wash building and 450m² workshop. The project was completed within a tight five month programme due to a deadline for Thrifty to vacate their existing accommodation.

The facility includes a range of environmentally sustainable features, including oil and water separator systems and storage tanks to collect, store and dispose of contaminants. The maintenance facility includes automated and manual car wash bays and refuelling bowsers.
