Aveo Springfield Building A

Hutchinson Builders was awarded Aveo’s new Springfield development in May 2016.

Building A was the first stage of Aveo Healthcare’s newest retirement village “Aveo Springfield Retirement Village” which will be one of Aveo’s largest developments consisting of more than 2500 dwellings and offering a mix of Retirement Apartments, Assisted Living, and Aged Care facilities, all close by the new Mater Hospital, and Springfield Central.

Building A is a 5 Storey, Class 2 Apartment Building consisting of 66 dwellings in a mix of one, and two bedroom configurations.

Designed to meet the Silver Level of the Australian Liveable Housing Design Guidelines, the apartments cater to the residents needs now, and into the future. The ground floor of the building provides a well-appointed communal lounge area where residents can mingle and socialise; a hairdresser; specialist suite; gymnasium; and auditorium.

Hutchinson Builders was also contracted to build the extensive public landscaped parkway that surrounds the communal areas of the building providing direct access and a visual corridor to the lush landscaped spaces from the sitting areas within the building.
