G35byTessa

The G35 development by Tessa Residential is a new 28 apartment complex in the inner-Brisbane suburb of Windsor. The project was delivered successfully ahead of schedule, much to our Client's delight, as well as a number of building efficiencies throughout the construction process - saving on cost and creating innovations in the building's ongoing maintenance and whole of life cycle. An important initiative on the job was a Hutchies identified cost-effective architectural façade system, which we provided to Tessa at no additional cost through our value management processes.

One of the main challenges encountered on G35 involved the latent rock conditions on site, discovered during the basement excavation and services phase of the programme. To carefully manage this, Hutchies ensured that excellent communication was established and maintained with all consultants and subcontractors in order to efficiently coordinate the technical works and deliver the project incident free and without delay.

A testament to Hutchies' performance on G35 was then successfully demonstrated by securing an additional $40M in future projects for Tessa.
