This major development at North Lakes State College has supplied the school with a new state-of-the-art ertical senior learning and teaching campus — the first of its kind in Queensland.

Hutchies was commissioned by the Queensland Department of Education and Training off the back of our extensive work on public and private primary and secondary schools across Australia and inner-city high rise developments.
The new facility will increase functional and flexible spaces both internally and externally to the college. Its location on a tight urban site is focused on enhancing the connectivity and safety across the school along with increasing outdoor learning and recreational areas.
Spread across five levels are specialist and general learning areas, advanced multimedia facilities, staff rooms, special education, music spaces, a roof top terrace, lecture theatre and Student Well Being Space accommodating 300 students.
