Aveo Newstead is Queensland’s first truly integrated vertical retirement village and aged care facility, providing a combination of 144 independent living, 55 assisted living, and 99 residential aged care units to respond to the changing needs of clients over time. It’s the only retirement community within 3km of Brisbane’s CBD, and provides highly sought-after housing for this growing sector, in an accessible inner urban precinct. Its city fringe location and contemporary design have made the development a flagship project for Aveo, and Hutchies was honoured to be appointed as principal contractor to bring the community to life.
