Fonts
Hutchies' brand uses various forms of Helvetica Neue, a timeless and resilient sans serif that ties perfectly with our century old business. For most of our digital platforms, we use ‘DIN Next Condensed’. Used all in CAPS, DIN Next produces short, sharp heading styles in various forms.
#Brand
To complement our logo fonts, we use these timeless typefaces to help keep us looking sharp and consistent across collateral and communications.
DIN Next Condensed
Feature Headings
Used only in ALL CAPS with 150 — 300 tracking.
DIN Next Condensed is used for feature headings and when smaller headings are required.
In apps that don't support DIN Next Condensed, we use Arial Narrow.
Helvetica Neue
Headings & Paragraphs
Only used in Sentence Case with no tracking.
Typically we use Helvetica Neue 55 Roman for paragraphs and Helvetica Neue 75 Bold for headings.
In apps that don't support Helvetica, we use Arial Regular and Arial Bold.
#Logos
Hutchies' logos are typically made up of three fonts: Antique Olive for ‘Hutchinson’, Eurostile for ‘Builders’ and Helvetica Neue Bold for ‘Established’.
Antique Olive Std Compact
Hutchinson & Hutchies
Slightly stylised specifically for our brand (tighter tracking to join letters together) and featuring imperfections from it's original physical creation in 1987 by a print house.
Eurostile LT Std Bold Extended
Builders & Divisions
Our various streams use Eurostile in the bar that sits below most of our Hutchies logos in ALL CAPS. We also use this style for phone numbers and web addresses (ie 1300 HUTCHIES and HUTCHIES.COM.AU).
Helvetica Neue 75 Bold
Established 1912
Our logo taglines use the timeless Helvetica fonts. We also use the Helvetica family throughout our brand to tie it all together consistently.
